Penny Lovell

Head of Client Services

Penny was appointed Head of Client Services at Close Brothers Asset Management in 2012 and joined the CBAM Management Committee in 2014. As well as ensuring we provide exceptional client service, Penny oversees our family office service, financial education programmes and all sales and marketing activities across the firm.

She has over 20 years of experience working with private clients, family offices, charities, professional intermediaries and financial advisers. Penny began her career began at Friends Provident before joining Coutts. Penny subsequently worked for ten years at Fleming Family and Partners as a Client Director for the Fleming family. Before joining Close Brothers, Penny was a Managing Director and Client Adviser in the Wealth Management business at Rothschild.

Penny holds the FPC and the PCIAM Diploma.

Shirley-Coe

Shirley Coe

Director - Business Development

Shirley joined Close Brothers Asset Management's Business Development Team in January 2016.

Shirley has over 20 years of experience working with high net worth clients both in the UK and internationally, including in her previous role as Director and Private Banker at Coutts & Co. She joins the team to help deliver the growth strategy for the Asset Management business both in London and regionally.

Shirley is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments and holds the PCIAM (Private Client Investment Advice and Management) Diploma.

josephinefay

Josephine Fay

Director - Business Development

Josephine joined Close Brothers Asset Management as a Business Development Director in February 2016.

Prior to that she was a solicitor (matrimonial) at Farrer & Co LLP. She worked on a wide range of family matters, both contentious and non-contentious, often with an international element. These matters included financial remedy claims following a marital or relationship breakdown, private law children matters, pre and post-nuptial agreements and co-habitation disputes.

Josephine read Latin and Classical Archaeology at the University of Edinburgh before qualifying as a solicitor.

Josephine holds the Investment Management Certificate.
