Who we are

An established provider of financial advice and investment management services, we are a part of the Close Brothers Group plc, a FTSE 250 leading UK merchant banking group, providing lending, deposit taking, wealth management services, and stocks and shares trading.

We work with professionals, business owners, individuals, families and their advisers, who are looking to preserve and grow their long-term savings and investments.

The value of investments can go up or down and you may get back less than you invest.

What we do

In the complex world of money and investing, we provide clarity and clear direction.

Our clients rely on us to look after their wealth – in many instances their entire livelihoods, everything that they have earned in their working lives. In effect they give our team the privilege of looking after what is probably the most important thing in most peoples' lives after their personal health and their families.

Our job is to show clearly every day that we deserve the trust placed in us to protect and grow their wealth.

Becoming a client

We start by listening carefully to you, so we fully understand how you are asking us to help.

If you'd like us to manage your portfolio, our advisers and investment managers will use their skill, expertise and deep understanding — of financial planning, of regulations, of investing and of markets — to pinpoint what matters and guide the decisions that will help you achieve your goals. They will also ensure you understand the details of any investment you make, including any risks and potential benefits.

We can work with you in whatever way suits you: in person or over the phone, on an ad-hoc or long-term basis. Our advisers and investment managers have a wealth of experience and, where necessary, can draw on the expertise of a broad range of specialist teams.

You can also choose to select and manage your investments yourself using our online investment service.
